PREREQUISITES
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure satisfaction of the course prerequisites, as listed on our Web Page.
COURSE CERTIFICATES
Each student who completes a course and is judged by the instructor to have learned the material to a satisfactory degree will be presented a Course Completion Certifcate at the end of class.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Payments to CONSULTIX should be made by charge card or a check for U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank. Payment should be received within 30 days of registration or before the start of class, whichever comes first (although we can be flexible if necessary). In certain cases, we may accept a FAX'd copy of a Purchase Order (PO) as a payment guarantee.
EarlyBird DISCOUNTS
To qualify for the Early-Bird Price, payment or an acceptable Purchase Order must be received by the E-B Deadline (this will often be the same date as the Cancellation Deadline).
CANCELLATIONS
Tuition will be refunded for students who cancel by 5pm Pacific Time on the date specified as the Cancellation Deadline. Payments arranged by PO are subject to the same cancellation terms; specifically, if cancellation occurs after the Cancellation Deadline, payment in full will still be due. In the event that we cancel a class, prepaid amounts may be refunded in full or applied to another class. If you cannot attend, you may send a qualified substitute in your place, with pre-approval.
FINANCE CHARGES
Late payments will be assessed a finance charge of .5% per week, compounding weekly.
CONFIRMATION
By the Cancellation Deadline, or within a few days of a registration occurring after that date, we will send each student a Confirmation Letter detailing the class schedule and location, and suggesting local accommodations.
CLASSROOM FACILITIES AND HOURS
Most classes are "Hands-On", with each student having the exclusive use of a computer terminal or workstation. Classes identified as "seminars" do not provide "Hands-On" access, and consist of lecture only, or lecture plus student learning activities. Hours may vary from one class to another, but generally start no earlier than 8:00am - and end no later than 5:00pm.
